The first time I embarrassed my own mom at church was when I was 4yo and the children were singing a song at the front of the church. I had a bad habit of rolling up my dresses when I was nervous. I also had a bad habit of biting my nails. Unfortunately I was doing both! I rolled my dress all the way up as high as I could get it and then proceeded to hold it there while I chewed my thumb! Needless to say I was not singing! Poor mom! I am going to try to remember this when my do something embarrassing to me!
